Theme: Children of the Light
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
We’re excited for this year’s Fall Festival! This is more than games, food, and fun — it’s a chance to teach our children to live as light in a world that often celebrates darkness.
Ephesians 5:8:
“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.”
Our goal is to help kids understand that following Jesus means shining brightly wherever they go. This festival is a joyful, family-centered alternative to Halloween, focused on faith, fun, and community.
We encourage parents to read and discuss Ephesians 5:8 with your children, helping them see how to reflect Jesus in how they speak, act, and celebrate.
🍂 Festival Theme: Fall Colors
This year, our theme is Fall Colors! Dress in warm autumn shades — reds, oranges, yellows, and browns — to create a festive and welcoming atmosphere.
🎭 Costumes (Optional)
Costumes are optional. If you choose to wear one, keep it lighthearted and positive.
✅ Ideas: heroes, princesses, animals, farmers, fall characters, or anything that celebrates God’s creation.
🚫 Avoid: villains, horror, demons, ghosts, or anything dark or scary.
The focus is on a safe, joyful, Christ-centered celebration that reminds us we are Children of the Light.
